Now that we’re in Aries, it’s the Vernal Equinox and the new Astrological Year.
This is a great time to renew the power of your Wandering Star necklace or bracelet. As you’ve worn it, it has taken in your energy, and exuded its own strength. But over time the stones get tired, just like you do at the end of a long day.
To cleanse away all the psychic gunk that’s built up on your jewelry and diminished its effect, you can do one of several things:
- Bury the jewelry in a bowl of sea salt for 24 hours (you can also soak it in salt water, but that’s bad for the wire it’s strung on).
- Smudging. Use sage or incense such as frankincense, cedar or sandalwood. Hold the stones over the smoke so it touches every surface. We carry Smudge Sticks with herbs for your zodiac sign for extra oomph.
- Sound clearing: use a crystal bowl, Tibetan bowl, tuning fork, or a gong. Tone the instrument for several minutes, as close as possible to the jewelry so it picks up the vibration.
- Moonlight and Sunlight. Place your jewelry out under the next full moon and leave it out for a full 24 hours. This charges it with both moonlight (feminine energy) and sunlight (masculine energy). Make sure it’s in a spot that gets full light, no shadow.
- Bury it in the earth, directly into the ground. Stones like to be returned to the earth for cleansing.
- Place the jewelry in your freezer for 24 hours.
After your cleanse, your jewelry will return to its original vibration, and impact your life all over again!
