Last week, during the Taurus new moon, I was discussing with a client her wishes to customize her Money necklace with a Gold Sun. While I was exploring her special-ordering options, I discovered that — drumroll — the price of gold and silver has skyrocketed since I last checked.
I did a lot more research, and I soon realized that it was actually costing me more to make my jewelry than I have been charging!

The Taurus New Moon’s opposition to Saturn in Libra clarified my predicament – though I do want to respect my clients and keep margins low, it is simply NOT good business practice to lose money on each sale!
The Taurus New Moon’s sextile to Neptune in Pisces made me realize that while my art transforms people’s psyches, its own opposition to Mars in Virgo (trining that New Moon) meant that I just have to be practical.
