We began in 1996, when Alicia was studying Astronomy and wanted to make a necklace that had all the planets around her in their exact positions in the sky when she was born. Someone pointed out that Astrology Charts did exactly that.
At first Alicia was skeptical. But when she began to learn about horoscopes, she found that once you got past the blurbs in the newspaper, there actually really was some truth to it.
And when she began making the jewelry, stories flooded in about all the magical and powerful things that happened to the women and men who wore them.
Many years and thousands of necklaces and bracelets later, Alicia’s “Meaningful Bling” is sold at the Smithsonian Institute, has been featured in a dozen magazines, and has been seen on the necks of Hollywood celebrities.
