on bbsradio.com.
We talked about the personalities of the various zodiac signs,
about Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable traits, the Age of Aquarius,
and much more.
In February, we'll be on again to take the conversation
a level deeper - perhaps exploring relationship compatibilites!

Since this planet is the butt of many jokes, please pronounce it
as YOORanis, with the accent on the first syllable.
The seventh planet in our solar system, Uranus's unique claim to
fame is that its axis runs from side-to-side and so it rotates vertically!
It also has rings, though fainter than Saturn's. Many of its 21 moons
are named after Shakespeare characters. In Astrology, Uranus represents
independence, freedom, invention, innovation, friends, and revolution.

|
The Eleventh House, ruled by Aquarius, represents
group consciousness. It influences friends, intellectual pleasures,
socializing, community service, humanitarian aid, and attitude towards
society. It shows your goals and ambitions as they relate to your
external relationships.

| Learn Astrology: Cardinal, Fixed, and
Mutable Qualities |
|
As you know, the 12 Zodiac Signs all have personalities.
A further way to explore commonalities between the signs
is to examine their underlying "Qualities": Cardinal,
Fixed, and Mutable. These Quadruplicities, groups of
four Signs 90 degrees away from each other that reflect
a person's attitudes in life and the way they approach projects.
The four Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer,
Libra, and Capricorn. Thy're the ones found at East, North,
West, and South -
the First, Fourth,
Seventh,
and Tenth
Houses.
Each one has a strong
character. They have initiative and motivation, they get
things moving, but they're not necesasarily good at follow-through.
The four Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio,
and Aquarius, the Second, Fifth, Eighth, and Eleventh Houses.
Because they're stable and reliable, they're the ones who
see projects
through
to
completion. However, they can also be stubborn and inflexible.
The four Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo,
Sagittarius, and Pisces, the Third, Sixth, Ninth, and Twelfth
Houses. These people are happy to fill assigned roles, and
are adaptable
to changing
circumstances.
Their
weakness is that they can be wishy-washy.

| "The horoscope
necklace is STUNNINGLY
gorgeous....all the girls that I work with love it!!!! and
the book about
the bastards
and their star signs is hilarious and is sooooo very true, but I'm still looking
for my frog/prince! Hope you have a wonderful
Solstice and Holiday Season; thanks for the beautiful jewelry,
it really pulls me out of my slump every time I see it
in the mirror!
I have to say I've loved each and
every piece of jewelry I've gotten from you guys - I wish
I had more wrists!!! (I would say necks, but that would be
just silly!!!)."

Yods Pointing Up, Up, and Away!
This month there is a series of Yods.
A Yod is called a "Finger of God", and it points to divine
callings. Click here to
read more about Yods.
If you count the Midheaven and Ascendant as points in the
Yods, there are literally a dozen a day right now, indicating
that this is a great time to
get going on your New Year's Resolutions - the stars are
in your favor to bring you success if you make a change that
others want you to make, if you agree it would be in your
self interest, even if you'd rather not.
On January 30, the Sun in Aquarius and Jupiter in Sagittarius
point to the Moon in Cancer. Declare
your
intentions
to
your family and loved ones. It will be emotional, but the
conversation will inspire them to support you, because you
mean a lot to them. A concurrent Yod with Chiron (conjunt
the Sun) indicates that this could actually heal a rift in
your family.
A third
Yod appears with the Moon in Cancer and the South Node
in Virgo pointing at Neptune in Aquarius - one of your friends
or family members may be pessimistic, pointing out that
you've tried to change before
and didn't succeed.
But don't get discouraged! On the 31st, yet another Yod
shows up with Pluto in Sagittarius and Mercury in Aquarius
pointing at the Moon in Cancer. Face whatever demons crop
up, think hard about how to make it happen, and focus
on how your achievement will make you feel. Because, shortly
after, Venus in Pisces will replace Mercury, allowing you
to see a vision of yourself in the future, after the struggle
to change has become a distant memory. Then, Mars in Capricorn
pairs with the North Node and/or Uranus in Pisces to point
at the
Moon.
That's a Yod of manifestation!
On Feb 11, Mars in Capricorn and Venus in Aquarius shift
to point to Saturn in Leo. You may find yourself faltering
in your
resolve,
but if you hang on to your discipline (Mars in Cap) until
Feb 17, you can stay on track, and your life will transform.
