These necklaces and bracelets are wearable, readable astrology charts, accurate to the degree. Because they're mathematically precise, they're quite complex. If you want to understand the jewelry in depth, follow the instructions below. Links will take you to the Learn Astrology section of the website to understand the terms used. Find the Azurite-Malachite bead that looks like the Earth--it's blue and green. (See bead below) There's a large silver bead right next to it. 2. Place the necklace or bracelet in a circle, with the Earth facing left/west. The silver bead should be above the Earth. You may need to flip the jewelry over. This marks the Ascendant on the chart, and you will "read" downwards from these beads. 3. The silver beads mark the 12 Astrology Houses. Slightly larger beads mark the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, and Nadir (north, south, east, and west). Between the ascendant and the next silver bead is the first house. Between that silver bead and the next one is the second house. Keep counting between the markers until you wind up back where you started! 4. The Zodiac Signs are marked by 14k Gold beads. Your Sun Sign is between the two gold beads surrounding the Sun bead. You can figure out the other 12 signs by continuing to count around between the gold beads. 5. The colored beads are the degrees of the jewelry. Depending on the length you buy, each bead will be a specific number of degrees. You can use these to count around to find the exact locations of each element on the jewelry. 6. The Planets in the jewelry are semiprecious stones that actually look like the planets of our solar system, both in appearance and proportional size: Sun, brass & pewter smiling sun Mercury, Hematite Venus, African Picture Jasper Earth (ascendant), Azurite-Malachite Moon, Mother-of-Pearl Mars, Carnelian Saturn, Tiger's Eye Jupiter, Rutilated Quartz Uranus, Turquoise Neptune, Sodalite Pluto, Red Jasper 7.
