Ordering Help. Because of the complexity of this jewelry, it's not as easy as simply clicking a link and adding an item to your shopping cart. You need to make many choices! Delivery Time Incorrect Orders Repair Privacy Policy Here are the questions we hear most often: Ordering Questions Q. What are the necklaces strung on? A. 40-pound test 49-strand nylon-coated steel. Q. How short are the chokers? A. They're really chokers, 14" in length. Unless you're petite or under 25 I recommend the 18" necklace! Q. Is it OK to wind the necklaces around my wrist? A. I think so, although I don't have any data to see if it stops the necklace from working. The choker makes a great double bracelet, and the 30" necklace makes a great double choker. Q. I don't understand the color choices. Do I choose a Glass color and a Semi-precious Stone? A. The color choices are the overall necklace color, and each bead equals an exact number of degrees on the necklace. Please choose either one glass color (no extra charge) or one semi-precious stone (additional charge). Q. Do I have to choose a color that matches my zodiac sign or birth month? A. You can use the traditional stone interpretations and colors if you'd like, but you can also choose your color based on your wardrobe. Q. Are the planets glass or semi-precious? A. The planets will be semi-precious in EVERY necklace ordered. Q: When I choose "Silver or Gold", does that affect the House and Zodiac beads? A: No. You're only choosing the metal for the actual closing, behind your neck. The Houses will still be Silver, the Zodiac will still be Gold, and the Sun will still be Brass. Q: How come the jewelry is so expensive? A: These aren't Power Beads made in Taiwan, and they aren't simple jewelry made to be pretty. Each one is handcrafted by Alicia or Mary to order, using the finest stones, gold, and silver. Not to mention that each is mathematically precise, heavily researched, and astrologically accurate! Q: How come you can't calculate the bracelets correctly on the Shopping Cart? A: Since we're not a Fortune 500 company, our shopping cart can't make decisions based on the length that you get. Our choice is an awkward disclamer on the order form, or charge you more than we should for your jewelry. Q: I can't get the Shopping Cart to work. Am I doing something wrong? A: Some internet providers have trouble with some scripts. Please call us at (800) WSTAR-25 to place your order. Company Policies Q: How long will it take to get my jewelry? A: Allow two to four weeks for delivery. Q: I need to have my order filled by a certain date for my friend's birthday [or Christmas]. How much lead time do you need? A. If you need the order in less than 2 to 4 weeks, choose "Overnight" shipping. You will be charged extra for Overnight shipping and a $15 fee for Rush. Your order will NOT get there the day after you order, but we'll be alerted to jump your order to the front of the line. Q: I gave you the wrong Birth information! A: If we make a piece of jewelry but the birth information given us is wrong, we will remake the necklace for a $30 charge. Essentially, we'll need to start over again from scratch. Send the jewelry and paperwork back along with the new information. Q: I snagged my bracelet and it broke. Can you fix it? A: We will remake jewelry that breaks due to accidents for a $25 charge if you send back the pieces in the original box or a padded envelope with your name, address, and birth information. Q: My necklace just fell apart...I didn't pull it or anything! A: Occasionally a planet may have rough edges inside that can wear through the steel strands. If this happens, we'll remake the jewelry for free if you send back the broken jewelry as described above. Q: I'm sending my credit card info over the Internet. Is that safe? A: We use a secure server that will encrypt your order before sending it to us. Q: What do you do with all my personal data? A: We maintain mailing lists and email lists for our own use; you can expect to hear from us occasionally with special offers and news. You're welcome to opt out at any time with a friendly note or phone call. We will never sell or give your mailing address or email address to any third party.
