Discontinued - order now or never!
One of our favorite items at shows and in our catalog is our
wall art of your astrology chart: in eye-popping 3-D!
As
you walk by, the glimmering holographic print changes color
and looks like it's moving with you.
All the planets in the solar system float around you where
they were at the date, time, and place you were born!
Unfortunately, the artist is discontinuing the line, and
his current supply is all he'll have, ever again.
That means that if you've been saving up for one, this is
your last chance!
The art
prints are 14"x14", framed with a black matte,
for $159.95. The desk/shelf
model is 8"x10" and is framed in brushed aluminum,
for $69.95.
Offer good while supplies last!

Meet Wandering Star's newest "employee" - our morale
officer, Zachary Isayha ("I-Say-Ha") Katz Pollock,
known as "Zayha"!
He was born on June 7, 2006 at 3:39 am in Portland, OR. He's
a Gemini with a Libra Moon (like his mom), and a Taurus Rising.
It was an extraordinary experience. I had a water birth in
a warm jacuzzi. Instead of moaning and groaning, I toned (sang)
my way through - instead of making ugly noises while vocalizing
my pain, I made beautiful ones! I caught my own baby myself,
and my husband caught both of us. And best of all, my entire
labor was just 5 hours (for those who want to know more, please
visit my personal
blog).
Being a new mom is the hardest thing I've ever done. I speak
in front of audiences with hundreds of people. I used to rock
climb; I've traveled around the world by myself. But nothing
compares to soothing a crying baby while barely being able
to walk!
I never imagined how much it takes to care for a newborn.
One of the reasons we've worked so hard at Wandering Star
is to create an environment where we could raise our children
while doing what we love. For the moment, Zayha leaves us
eaking out moments to process orders and make jewelry, but
it's a joy to carry him in a sling while I work (even if I
have to type with just my left hand!).
Oh, and it's my birthday this week! Yay us!

The Moon is the ruling planet of the sign Cancer in
the fourth house.
The Moon embodies your feelings and emotions. The moon
is associated with the mother, nurturing, family, and
your ability to tap into the feelings of others.
The sign the moon was in at your birth will help you
know how you express your feelings.
If you read your daily horoscope, it would be useful
to read your moon sign as an indicator of how your emotions
are operating for the day.
|
|
|
The Fourth House represents home, family, parenting,
traditions, and your general attitude about where &
how you live.
Ruled by Cancer, it is the place of seeking emotional
security.
Most astrologers believe that the fourth house represents
the mother, but it can more accurately be said that
the fourth house indicates how you obtain your nurturing.

| 1. President
Bush's Solar Return - (July 5, 2006; 7:06 pm; Washington
DC) features Pluto conjunct the Sagittarius Ascendant.
This Pluto placement is an ominous signal for catastrophic
events over the coming year, although the Moon-Jupiter
conjunction protects the U.S. itself. Factor in the
Leo planets, and we have the continuation of an imperial
presidency.
2. Jupiter turns direct - (July 5-6) while conjunct
the U.S. Scorpio Ascendant (orb 0º23'), promising an
eventful few days, national benefits, and a brighter
outlook. A complicating factor is that Chiron is associated
with the U.S. military*, and is simultaneously squaring
the Scorpio Ascendant, perhaps combining to create events
concerning military justice, or even military adventurism.
3. Full Moon - (July 10, 11:00 PM EDT) takes place at
18º41' Capricorn/Cancer. The Sun here makes precise
hits to the U.S. Sun/Mercury and Mars/Midheaven midpoints
(both at 18º43' Cancer), indicating important announcements
about war plans and strategies. With both hot Mars and
dry Saturn in Leo, watch for raging fires and drought
conditions throughout the Southwest.

July
is characterized by a Mercury
Retrograde in Cancer from July 4 to 28.
Look out for communication breakdowns
with your family. One member will try to nurture, while
the other may find their actions inappropriate or smothering.
Don't forget that they were doing their best to help
you, and if you're the nurturer, make sure that your
actions support the other person's preferences!
Jupiter has been retrograde since March
4, and it goes direct on July 5. If your Spring wasn't
as inspiring as you would have liked, look for new opportunities
for growth and expansion to come your way.

The
Part of Fortune is a mathematically derived sensitive point
in your chart. The symbol in your chart is a circle with an
“X” inside it.
The Part of Fortune is the exact amount of degrees and minutes
distant from the Ascendant as the Moon is distant from the
Sun. It is calculated differently for day and night births:
For a.m. births, POF = Ascendant + Moon - Sun
For p.m. births, POF = Ascendant + Sun - Moon
The Part of Fortune is an ancient Arabic interpretive element
usually associated with the physical body, especially health
and money. As its name implies, it is an area of your chart
that is benevolent, especially when activated by a transiting
planet.
The POF indicates your worldly success, prosperity, and talents.
It represents what you like to do, what you're good at, and
what you'll be successful doing.

This month's story comes from a woman named Pat, who has
been wearing a horoscope
necklace since 2003. She says of that necklace, "From
the day I received it, it seemed as if the world shifted just
a little in my favor.
"I'd just gotten back in touch with the love of my life.
I planned a trip to NH to visit him, and it was like the hotels
were just waiting for me to call, and then give more more
than what I was looking for.
"After I returned to NJ, we spent the next year on the
phone every day and making many 7-hr trips back and forth,
treasuring every wonderful moment and planning the rest of
our life together.
"Later that spring, a lump showed up on his neck. It
turned out to be cancer, and while his prognosis was excellent,
this story does not have a happy ending: he became convinced
that he would not get better and became increasingly despondant.
"On a beautiful, sunny day in June, I stood up and my
necklace
literally exploded off the right side of my neck. It felt
really strange and was very forceful. The only way I can think
to describe it would be a small outward explosion. Most of
the beads stayed on and I recovered the ones that fell to
the floor and put them in an envelope.
"Two days later, I got the call no one ever wants to
get. The love of my life had succcumbed to his depression;
he had taken his life.
"Several weeks later, I noticed the envelope with my
necklace. I realized the necklace had broken at the same time
my love died. I pulled out my necklace to see where in my
chart it broke. It looked like it broke around the 7th house
of Relationships.
"Thank you so much for repairing
my jewelry. I am looking forward to having my universe
back together again!"
