PREDICTIONS FOR THE SIGNS - JUNE 2001
Hint: If you know your Rising Sign, also called the
Ascendant, read your horoscope for that sign, as it will
often give you a better reading than for your Sun sign. To
find out your Rising Sign, ask an astrologer to calculate
your birthchart. You'll need full birthdate, exact time of
birth as shown on the birth certificate, and
city/state/country of birth.)
ARIES (March 21-April 20) (or Aries Rising):
The challenge for Aries is to get out of your head and into
your feelings, out of your preconceptions and fixed ideas
and into your gut level and spiritual intuitions. Get off
your high horse and judgmental attitude, and into your
beautifully unfolding heart. Grant people space to be fully
themselves if they're not hurting others. Let simplicity
and equality for all be your motto. Your "head" is going to
be put through its paces in June. Stay loose and cool, and
you'll come out of this OK. When in doubt, drink a glass of
cold water and think of light blue and white. In other
words, *chill*.
TAURUS (April 21-May 20) (or Taurus Rising):
Realize the power of the word to uplift or disturb - it's
your choice, what will it be? Don't imitate others. A
useful process would be to hypothetically wipe your mental
slate clean, then return to "beginner's mind" and question
everything you think, say, or otherwise do as it arises.
How much of that is is imitation? where/who did you get it
from? How much is an automaticity, a machine going through
the motions robotically? How much is really YOU in present
time, the way you want it to be -- costing nothing but
mindfulness and willingness to run the process? You have
VAST resources at your disposal - use them wisely.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21) (or Gemini Rising):
Life seems more serious and it's a challenge for Gemini just
to stay even right now, much less get ahead. Relationships
with others can be extremely volatile, arbitrary, and
riddled with disagreements, while Mars, Chiron and Pluto
oppose your sign, and especially as the month opens with
Mercury opposing Mars/Chiron, so do keep a low profile -
make that a FLAT profile!! You can't get too flat right
now. For extra credit: practice your invisibility.
Negotiations are likely to go nowhere useful and force tends
to prevail over reason now. Think about abandoning bullies
and crazies for greener pastures.
CANCER (June 22-July 22) (or Cancer Rising):
June is a good month for Cancerians to go on vacation,
preferably near the ocean, and get themselves better
together before their birthday. Maui or Nantucket, anyone?
Nova Scotia or Baja? Meditation, spiritual practice,
solitude, contemplation, retreat are the name of the game.
Take care of health concerns and shore up weaknesses but
don't go overboard with the weekend warrior schtick - and
remember the sunblock! If you have food sensitivities or
are not feeling up to snuff, use muscle testing (applied
kinesiology) to determine which foods and people strengthen
or weaken you. Getting out of states of dripping sympathy
doesn't mean becoming cold hearted, it just means taking
care of yourself for a change, MoonChild.
LEO (July 23-August 23) (or Leo Rising):
June is a good month for Leo to socialize up a storm, with
an eye to future career moves and fun! Get together with
upbeat, positive-minded friends who can help each other
fulfill their dreams, open business doors and mental
windows. With an exact Mars/Chiron conjunction opening the
month, keep an eye on kids and yourself with regard to fire
hazards, guns, anger, heat, sunburn, kicks from horses, and
being just too much of a weekend warrior. Indulge your
passion for big views and the great outdoors, but stay safe
and sane. Use triple care with campfires.
VIRGO (August 24- Sept 23) (or Virgo Rising):
It's time for understated Virgo to step out in more
leadership. An excellent month to do promotions, PR, kick
off a sales campaign despite a bad economy. All things
being equal, promotions that others can "have" and accept
will get you a lot farther than not. Besides, it's good to
remind people you still exist and are doing some things
better than ever. So kick it up a few notches!! You're a
desirable option for people's future. Again, be prudent
regarding fire hazards and guns around the home with
Mars/Chiron in your solar 4th house. Use lots of white and
light yellows in your environment, and cool water, to offset
the unsettled feelings around that Mars pattern.
LIBRA (Sept 24- Oct 23) (or Libra Rising):
June is great for Libra to travel abroad and out of state.
On the home front, reorganize your bookcases and data. Move
a bookcase or other furniture, and see how this changes the
energy for the better! Go for more space, air, and a
feeling of lightness. Again, as last month, your car may
need some attention - act earlier rather than later - an
ounce of prevention. Avoid speeding, and impulsive or
mindless moves on the road, give pedestrians, cyclists, and
aggressive drivers a wide birth. June is a good month for
you to sign on for a big educational program or travel that
will expand your horizons and help you move forward and
prosper in every area of life. Take the risk!
SCORPIO (Oct 24 - Nov 21) (or Scorpio Rising):
Avoid big spending again with Mars/Chiron your solar 2nd
house, or this can come back to bite. Don't hesitate to
return items if necessary. You have your mind on life and
death matters, so this is an excellent month for estate
planning or resolution, pondering your next investments.
There could be some big money coming out of information you
consider this month. If you're a writer, publish now. If
you're a speaker or sales person, promote like crazy.
Something very abundant is in the works, but the right
information and conversations are necessary to put it
together in a way that works. You could receive an
important message from "the other side." Your metaphysical
studies prosper now.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 - Dec 21) (or Sagittarius Rising):
Once again, Sag is fired up and under fire with Mars,
Chiron, Pluto and Pallas in your sign. Go for the gusto,
challenge and fantastic inspiration if you're a writer or
thinker. Otherwise you're sorely tempted to walk a fine
line between adventure and high risk. Avoid extreme sports,
horseback riding, muscle strain, impulsiveness, firearms,
and speeding, as these can backfire bigtime on your body
now. Solid and sane programs for health will hopefully
capture your attention. Main focus: forget about work and
CELEBRATE your favorite people and relationships ALL MONTH
LONG!
CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19) (or Capricorn Rising):
Once again, a tremendous amount is going on behind the
scenes with several planets in Sag in your solar 12th house,
but it's not time for public recognition yet. Preparations
are intensely underway. Intuitions and expectations, while
clear and distinct, are not always accurate. Revisions are
constant, and that's just the process. Depth and having
done one's homework and research will pay off, but hard to
say exactly when. Some things just cannot be rushed. Right
now, the reward is all in the doing itself. With Sun and
Jupiter in your solar 6th house, this is a great time to
expand your working team and working relationships. Allow
for contingencies and exits just in case of Jupiterian
over-optimism. Question: will your product or process stand
the *heat* (Mars)? Construe that question any way you like.
AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18) (or Aquarius Rising):
An excellent vacation month for Aquarius, especially for air
travel and to windy areas with wide views. You can get
extremely inspired and creative now, so be sure to document
or otherwise capture your fabulous ideas and visions. Have
tons of fun with the young people in your life! Your sense
of humor is legendary now. All in all a wonderful month for
Aquarius - ENJOY to the fullest!! You're feeling on top of
the world. However, once again this month, there's a strong
likelihood of run-ins with friends and associates who are
upset, irritable, and spoiling for a fight, so steer clear
and mind your own business.
PISCES (Feb 19 - March 20) (or Pisces Rising):
Once again, a wild time in the career area with Mars,
Chiron, Pluto and Pallas all in your 10th solar house of
career, authority figures, and reputation. Avoid offending
the powers that be even if they are offensive or on a
rampage themselves. Better yet, find another place to
happen during wartime. Your own thinking is calm and clear,
and intuitive information is sound regarding all the hoopla
going on around you. An excellent month for home repairs
and renovation, even home purchase or sale. You need a
space that reflects your current energy! Create more
feeling of light and space in your home; for some this will
meaning adding windows or french doors. Arrange fresh
flowers, music and cold drinks, invite family and friends to
your home for great conversation!
