Neptune is the planet that rules Pisces
and the 12th House. Neptune governs your creativity,
illusions, and spirituality.
To be enlightened, you must first burst
through your illusions. Neptune rules intuitive development,
filmmaking, musical creativity, and oceanic professions.
With Neptune, you go beyond worldly boundaries to merge
with the cosmos.
Escapist activities like alcoholism,
drug addiction, excessive fantasies (like winning the
lottery to fix all your problems), and romanticizing
bad relationships are Neptune-ruled.
You must go beyond yourself in order
to understand Neptune. With Neptune placed in the second
house, a person must find true prosperity consciousness
rather than prosperity based solely on material possessions.
In the fifth house, you could help children to open
to their creativity, or you may get lost in romantic
illusions. An eighth house Neptune might be under the
fantasy that they will win the lottery.
Neptune helps you to step into a larger
part of yourself, a part that is totally connected to
your Divine Essence. People with strong Neptune in their
charts tend to look beyond religious institutions for
their spirituality.
In school kids learn that Pluto is the
outermost planet in our solar system, but because Pluto's
orbit is so eccentric, it sometimes crosses the orbit
of Neptune. This makes Neptune the most distant planet
from the Sun for a few years!
Neptune's composition is most likely
a small core of rocky material about the mass of the
Earth. Its atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and helium
with a small amount of methane. Neptune's blue color
is largely the result of absorption of red light by
methane in the atmosphere but there is some additional
as-yet-unidentified chromophore which gives the clouds
their rich blue tint.
Like a typical gas planet, Neptune has rapid winds,
the fastest in the solar system, reaching 2000 km/hour.

The Twelfth House relates to that which is hidden from
view. Ruled by Pisces, spiritual practices like meditation,
shamanic vision quests, past life regression, dream
therapy, psychic development, and hypnotherapy fit into
the twelfth house.
This is the place you go for your privacy. It also
shows what you would like to hide from the world, but
will need to deal with at some time in your life.
For example, Mercury in the twelfth house is often
the child who is told that he/she talks too much, so
learns to be seen and not heard. However, as the child
gets older, they must learn to communicate all over
again.
The twelfth house is where we want to escape from the
world, and this can include alcoholism, drug addiction,
or any time a person lives excessively in their fantasy
world. In the twelfth house, you need to look at the
shadows of your inner being in order to bring forth
your connection to the One Source of all that is. This
energy can be used positively through contemplative
spiritual practice or other forms of self-analysis.
Photography, the ocean, and secret societies are associated
with the twelfth house, as are prisons, hospitals, and
psychiatric facilities.

before now to sit down and touch base with you all.
2006 is our 10th Anniversary Solar Return, and we're
still here. Most small businesses go under by their
7th year, and we're still here. Many jewelers run out
of inspiration after years and years, but thanks to
your word-of-mouth and amazingly powerful feedback,
WE'RE STILL HERE!
Not only are we still here, but we're expanding, in
every way.
The first expansion is...Alicia's belly!

our universe. He's going to be a Gemini! Know
that proceeds from all of your purchases in the next
3 months will be going towards welcoming our baby into
the world. We're so excited!
The second expansion is our new catalog. One of our
frequent customers commented, "it knocked my socks
off!" It's grown from 12 pages to 28 pages, and
we're carrying dozens of new Zodiac
products.
Over the next month we'll be adding everything to the
website, and the website itself will undergo a major
facelift. Over the next several issues of the newsletter
we'll introduce our new jewelry and gifts. As before,
most of the items are handcrafted by artisans in our
astrological community.
Throughout the year, we'll be sending the new catalog
to everyone who's ever given us a snail-mail mailing
address. If you would like your

Learn Astrology: Cosmos and
Psyche |
|
For most people burdened with a modern education,
astrology makes no sense at all. However, a few academics
have begun to realize that some profound connection
exists between the movements of the planets and human
experience. In his recently published book, Cosmos and
Psyche, professor Richard Tarnas offers the heretical
view that outer planet cycles correspond precisely with
definitive epochs in human history.
In 500 pages of analysis, Tarnas investigates four major
outer planetary cycles, what he calls "world transits".
Knowing what happened during past world transits allows
us to better understand what will happen in future world
transits, he explains. As an example, he illuminates
the Saturn-Neptune cycle, which is coming into effect
now and will continue through 2007. Saturn-Neptune presents
a significant challenge to the spirit of the age.
Expect loss of faith, widespread discontent, and a "crisis
of confidence" as was experienced during the Saturn-Neptune
square of Carter's presidency in 1977-'79. Saturn-Neptune
is the battle between belief and facts, faith-based
and reality-based perspectives. Disenchantment, disillusion,
social malaise, credibility gaps, apathy, escapism,
and denial are all part of this Saturn-Neptune vibration.
Up next in the world transits: the Uranus-Pluto square
beginning in 2010, which harkens back to the liberating
feeling-tone of the 1960s.

And For Those of You Who Have Read This Far |

Third Eye Games
Your Third Eye is your receptor for intuition and connection
to the spiritual world. Technically your pineal gland, it's
located slightly higher than, and between, your eyes. When
you meditate, this is the point of your focus.
I've learned a few tricks with your Third Eye that I thought
you might enjoy.
1) See your Third Eye
Look in the mirror. Relax your eyes until you see two images
of yourself. Keep playing with those two images until the
two center eyes come together into one. You'll now see three
eyes! Notice that the middle (third) eye doesn't look exactly
like your eyes.
Stare into it. You'll find yourself looking into the depths
of your soul. I find some of my best clarity while looking
into my Third Eye!
2) Fall Asleep Quickly
Do you have trouble falling asleep? I don't know if this
trick will work for everybody, but it works for me.
While you're laying in bed trying to sleep, push out through
your Third Eye. I look out through my Third Eye for an adventure
in my dreams. I pretend to open it like a door and step through.
After I do this, I actually feel a shift in my brain and
can feel myself go...and then I'm gone.
