Saturn
Saturn symbol

Saturn's rings are mostly made of ice formed from moons shattered by impacts of comets and meteoroids. Saturn is the only planet less dense than water!

In astrology, Saturn teaches us some of the hardest lessons in life. It's the planet of issues and boundaries in your life.

Its 29-year orbit is called your "Saturn Return", and is almost always a pivotal moment in your life: Settling down (29), midlife crisis (58), needing help (87).

10th House
Tenth House

The Tenth House represents your public image and career. The world sees you according to the sign on the tenth house cusp (also called the Midheaven). Planets in your 10th House will affect your career experiences. In the same way, the sign on the cusp of your 10th House affects your attitudes towards ambition.

And For Those of You Who Have Read This Far:

What was the Star of Bethlehem?

The Three Wise Men were astronomers and astrologers - in fact, in those days, no distinction was made between the two.

According to Susan S Carroll, there were several astronomical conjunctions from 7 BC to 2 BC that could have heralded the coming of Jesus. She describes one as, "Jupiter was known as the 'planet of Kings' and Saturn as the 'Protector of the Jews'. This could easily have been interpreted as a sign that the Jewish Messiah had been, or was about to be, born."

Her conclusion? The Star of Bethlehem was Jupiter!
