Monthly Horoscope for Everyone

Spring has sprung and the world is turning green.  Perfect, since green is one of the colors for Taurus! The Sun is in Taurus, the sign of money, possessions, and foundation.

This month features a Grand Water Trine, a powerful positive alignment of planets in Water Signs. Uranus, the planet of change, is in Pisces, the sign of sensitivity. Saturn, the planet of issues and boundaries, is in Cancer, the sign of nurturing. And the South Node, the past, is in secretive Scorpio.

Back in November 2003, we experienced the Harmonic Concordance (please see our Scorpio newsletter, and the Sagittarius newsletter). This month's alignment is greatly related, involving many of the same planets. This Grand Water Trine indicates that it's time to get in touch with something you've been burying, repressing or denying.  Maybe it's a secret you've been keeping, or something that happened to you that you haven't been able to let go of.

It's time to bring the issue to the surface.  Say what you need to say. Either confront the person involved, or tell it to someone safe.  By the end of Taurus, the Moon and Mars will also be part of this trine (conjunct Saturn in Cancer), and you just won't able to hold yourself back anymore.

Apprehension and "bottling up" is actually scarier than facing an issue and letting go. Most of the time addressing the unsaid is a relief for everyone involved, even if it means having to rebuild the relationship afterwards.

Please keep in mind, as you do so, that the Moon has some challenging aspects this month, so avoid flowery speech and being dramatic. Stick to the facts of what happened and how it made you feel; don't attack the other person. This is about clearing your space; dumping on them will be detrimental.

Since it's happening while the Sun's in Taurus, taking this step to address your blockages is necessary to your security and prosperity. And remember that part of the Harmonic Concordance is that if you face the parts of your life that you've been in denial about, nothing but good will come of it. You'll be that much closer to your fulfilled, happy self!

Gemini on the second house cusp may prefer a home loaded with books.

Be aware, there are many other places to look in an astrology chart for material resources, especially the 10th house of Career. Natal planets in a house will influence the nature of that house as well.

The second house relates to your throat and voice. It has to do with speaking your truth. The second house helps you manifest beauty and your highest values into the world.

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. Inside the small boat were several large yellowfin tuna. An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long," answered the Mexican.

"But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the American.

The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.

The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos. I have a full and busy life. "

The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat. With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and soon until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge enterprise."

"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican.

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? That's when it gets really interesting," answered the American, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?"

"Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your guitar with your amigos."
