Harmonic Concordance & Lunar Eclipse
On November 8 we will be treated to a rare planetary alignment. Six planets will line up in a six-pointed Star of David! Even better, there will be a full Lunar Eclipse too!
The Harmonic Concordance
A trine is an alignment of 120 degrees, and signifies harmony and flow. In a Grand Trine, 3 planets make up all 3 points of the triangle at the same time, and are in the same element (water, earth, fire, or air).
What makes the November 8 alignment special is that not only will there be two Grand Trines at the same time, but they will be exactly opposite each other, forming a Star of David.
In the upcoming November 8 event, the first is a Grand Water Trine with the Sun in Scorpio, Mars in Pisces, and Saturn in Cancer. This alignment could represent a shift in sensitivity so that our actions are harmonious with our needs.
The second is a Grand Earth Trine with the Moon in Taurus, Jupiter in Virgo, and Chiron in Capricorn. This alignment also is representative of a healing event allowing us to structure our surroundings in a healing way.
There are additional relationships between the stars as well. The six planets are in sextile going around the circle; this 60 degree alignment is also harmonious.
But there are also challenges. Each of the points is opposite another point; oppositions represent two energies that push and pull against each other. In this alignment, the Sun (personality) will oppose the Moon (emotions), representing a struggle with self-identity. The asteroid Chiron (the wounded healer), will be opposite Saturn (issues and struggles); it's time to confront the obstacles we've been unwilling to face. And Jupiter (luck and growth) will be opposite Mars (aggression), reinforcing that it's time to take action if we want to evolve.
Jupiter in Virgo also indicates politics and Chiron in Capricorn includes religion, so personally I'm hoping that there will be a major resolution to the events in the Middle East. Like we stop trying to impose our system where it's not invited, and encourage international guidance to help smooth out the turmoil. I'll get off my soapbox now.
The Lunar Eclipse
A lunar eclipse happens during a full moon when the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon are so directly lined up that the Sun casts the Earth's shadow on the Moon.
This full lunar eclipse will occur at Moonrise on Nov 8 on the West Coast and through most of the evening on the East Coast. It will be followed by a total Solar Eclipse on November 23. A lunar eclipse doesn't have a specific astrological interpretation, but mythologically were considered "bad omens" (despite their regular and scientific occurrance) and thus should be considered a good time for proactive change.
All together, it's evident that this configuration of our solar system provides us the perfect moment to intentionally break through the areas where we've been acting out of integrity with our needs.
This is the perfect opportunity to confront what stops you with ease and success.

Astronomy and Astrology: Pluto
Pluto is the Ruling Planet of Scorpio, meaning that its energy reflects the same type of energy as the Zodiac sign. Pluto is one of the planets that make astrologers shudder because it represents our deepest darkest subconsious, and is considered somewhat malefic.
Dark red in color and consisting mostly of ice, Pluto exasperates astronomers as well. Its orbit is eccentric; instead of traveling in a circle like the other planets, its orbit is oval, and is sometimes closer to the sun than Neptune. And is it a planet or not? While we've been taught for decades that Pluto is our planet farthest from the Sun, it was recently declassified and is now considered an asteroid instead!

We got a call from a woman from whom we had made a Relationships Composite bracelet, blending her chart with her boyfriend's. Now they're engaged, and I received a call from her, almost in tears, because the bracelet had broken, and her wedding was coming up in a few weeks. The Blonde and the Lawyer
A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from Los Angeles to New York. The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde, tired, just wants to take a nap, so she politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks.
The lawyer persists and explains that the game is easy and a lot of fun.
He says, "I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me five dollars, and vice versa."
Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep.
The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500."
This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment, agrees to the game.
The lawyer asks the first question: "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?"
The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00 bill, and hands it to the lawyer.
"Okay," says the lawyer, "your turn."
She asks, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?"
The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references ... no answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the Internet and the Library of Congress ... no answer.
Frustrated, he sends e-mails to all his friends and coworkers but to no avail. After an hour, he wakes the blonde and hands her $500.
The blonde thanks him and turns back to get some more sleep.
The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, stirs the blonde and asks, "Well, what's the answer?"
Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.
