Our Destiny Jewelry line has been getting a lot of attention recently. This July we were invited to the American Federation of Astrologers convention in Phoenix to talk about our research and experiences making astrological talisman jewelry. What follows is an excerpt from that workshop:
Everyone has issues in their lives where they're looking to improve.
For some it's their love life. For others it's their job. Almost everyone has something about their personality that they wish was different.
But the grass isn't greener on the other side. Maybe they just give it more water!
To some extent you're hardwired for particular personality traits, and your natal horoscope, or birth chart, is one of the best ways of finding out how you came to be the way you are.
But you're NOT "stuck with" anything. Throughout your life you've had some wonderful things happen to you, and some awful things. And each time, you made a decision about who you are, or how the world works.
But each of those elements of your identity, what you consider "I", was a choice you made at that moment.

The Sun is Leo's Ruling "Planet."

Alicia's Own Experiences
Months ago I told you I made a Relationships Destiny Talisman after I met my sweetie, and I made it in the Golden color since he was a Leo. I've worn it every day for over a year. As a birthday present to him, I'd like to tell a few stories of the miracles that have happened in the last few months. And I do in part credit my necklace with these results, along with our hard work and constant communication!
In April he met my folks, and they liked him! The next week, we had our first fight...he had things he wanted to accomplish before we committed together, and now there was perceived pressure. Because the 1st House Mars in the jewelry is for continuing to walk your path as an individual, even as you build a life together, I told him our friendship was most important of all, and that he should do what he needed to do for himself.
Apparently my response was the right one. The following week he called me to tell me he had been given 30 days' notice and needed to move. While he was telling me this, I got an email from MY landlord saying the exact same thing!
We both received notice on the same day, and it wasn't even the first of the month, just a random Wednesday at 3pm...that just doesn't happen!
We both knew the Universe was kicking us into gear as a team (Relationships Jewelry: Sun, Saturn, Mercury in 11th house in Libra). In a wonderful deep conversation that evening (Rel J: Moon in 7th in Gemini), we decided to move in together!
Not only did we find a great house, but subtle "miracles" happen daily. For example, I was eating a bowl of cereal and wanted to read the list of ingredients on the box. As I got up to get it, in perfect Leo style he opened the cupboard, took it out, and handed it to me, without my even asking! (Rel J: Neptune in 11th house in Libra)

And for those of you who have read this far:
A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all. On the first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in school.
Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible, then busied himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his chest.
He had no discipline problems with any of his students that term.
