What's Hot
After seven years of making astro jewelry, we're beginning to notice some trends. What's really funny is that the trends seem to match their Zodiac traits! Just in case you're a skeptic, check out this list:
- Aries tend to buy the Sun Sign or Zodiac bracelets.
- Taureans buy the Money Destiny jewelry in green (no surprise there!).
- Cancers and Virgos like earrings in their zodiac sign.
- Leos like the golden Zodiac jewelry, especially the 20" length. Showoffs!

Cancer (also known as Moonchild) has the same nature as the crab: hard on the outside and soft on the inside. They often keep outsiders at arm’s length to protect their deeply felt emotions. Once you find your way into a Cancer’s heart, it takes a cataclysmic event to kick you out.

The Moon
The Moon is Cancer's Ruling Planet. Made of green cheese and a disembodied man, the moon has been a symbol of mythology and lore since humans discovered language.
There are many theories of how the moon was formed; our favorite was that a very young planet Earth was struck by a meteor large enough to chip off a big chunk. Millions of years of rotation made both bodies round again.
The moon orbits the Earth every 28 days, and was the origin of the Gregorian calendar's "month" until Julius and Augustus Caesar invented July and August. The Mayan calender uses a 28-day calender cycle.
The same side of the moon always faces the Earth.
A full moon occurs when the sun and moon are on opposite sides of the Earth. Full moons are a time of fruition and fulfillment. A new moon occurs when they're on the same side, and is a time for new beginnings.
In Astrology, the Moon symbolizes your emotions, and is one of the three biggest factors in your chart (along with your Sun & Ascendant). The placement of the moon in your chart will determine whether you wear your heart on your sleeve, repress your feelings, or express them healthily. The Moon's location will also suggest what areas of life are most important to you.

Q: "Is it preferred to wear the necklace with the ascendant toward the left arm or the right arm? I couldn't get a particular sense of that, so I've got it on the left because that's how I look at my chart."
A: (The Ascendant on the jewelry are the pairing of the corrugated silver with the small blue-and-green azurite-malachite bead. Place them at 9:00 when you lay it on the table, silver above Earth.)
We like to put the jewelry on as if you were looking UP THROUGH the jewelry. Pick it up, turn it around, put it on. Worn this way, the Earth is on the right.

With Jupiter opposing Neptune with a transiting Mars, and Saturn transiting the US's Cancerian Sun, life is going to remain rough for awhile. The good news is that this is a good time for intentional change!
"If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."
Are you as mad as we are that the FCC is allowing media companies to control over half the tv & radio outlets in your city, essentially sanctioning censorship? Or upset that the next Supreme Court nominee may overturn Roe vs. Wade? THIS is what losing your civil liberties looks like. It's much more subtle than having dark skin and being detained for questioning.
The US can't call ourselves a democracy unless YOU share your opinion. Once every 4 years is not enough.

Scientists have shown that the moon is moving away at a tiny, although measurable distance from the earth every year. If you do the math, you can calculate that 85 million years ago the moon was orbiting the earth at a distance of about 35 feet from the earth's surface.
This would explain the death of the dinosaurs...the tallest ones, anyway.
